Want to know how much I love bokeh filters? So much that I would put bokeh circles (like the ones all over my face in this picture) over my entire world if I could. If I was going back in time I would name this blog House of Bokeh or some such silly thing.
Seriously.
Want to know why the Kardashian’s always look amazing during there confessional interviews on their show? Bokeh. Well, bokeh in their eyes anyway. Those big, beautiful brown eyes of theirs are reflecting HUGE MEGA WATT lights that are pointing straight at them. And it creates a bokeh like effect in that area. Which is hypnotizing. And why we cannot look away despite the obvious cray-cray happening there.
Bokeh is like a bottle of fairy dust being magically poured out over everything.
It makes me beyond happy and I have to resist processing ever single picture I have through this filter.
You can keep your rose-tinted glasses, give me bokeh for life. Bokeh looks to me how grace feels. How joy feels. How carefreeness feels.
But enough about bokeh…
Over the next 6 weeks I have 8 speaking engagements of some sort, work is at it’s peak busy season, and I may or may not be tossing around another book idea.
Needless to say my brain is already feeling a little fuzzy.
So I need your help. If you want to help. Which I wouldn’t blame you if you didn’t, you are probably busy too!
But if you do want to help here is what I could use: Ideas and questions. I am afraid that this blog is in jeopardy of just lying around like a wet noodle for a few weeks unless I get some content help…

(of course I have to confess that I am super nervous that no one will ask questions or give suggestions. Throwing this out into Blogland is a little bit like throwing a party – what if no one shows up???)

I am new to your blog so I would love a “recap” — your journey. And for the future — crafting and decorating for me.
I'd love to see a list of your favorite little shops in Central Ark. Kinda like a to-see list for when I'm in town visiting the in-laws.
I love the pictures of your decorating and when you have pictures of your table set for meals. I love recipes when I get to see the finished product. I love to see where you and your family are visiting. I love before and after shots when someone is cleaning out a closet, linen closet or pantry. I like to see what you are reading and what you carry on a field trip or camping trip. Chickens are great as are shots of lakes, trees, deserts, fairs, and backyards. Also crafting and sewing. Take us on a journey of you (or your kids) learning something you have never done before. And last, but not least, I love your blogs about your faith. I find them very uplifting and I can always use one.

What style of decorating do you really not care for? Why?
I love 'your' story – – hearing about your faith – – and your decorating and gardening ideas help me get up and do something instead of just thinking abou it – because I admit, I could plan something to death before I put a single idea into action! p.s. – – I'm lovin' your book!

I also like hearing about your thoughts on faith and family. Your posts always move me. And I love your posts on celebrations and special events. I always get such great ideas! I too dream of having a home out in the country where I can keep chickens and bees and have a giant garden. But I live in a rental house in a suburban neighborhood. Sometimes, I despair of ever achieving my dream but then I draw inspiration from your blog and your home.
I'd love to hear of your following the liturgical year. Pentecost is coming up. Loved your book – bought two copies.
I also think continuing your garden story would be great. I am a 30-something farmer's wife. So many people seem to think I have the ideal life surrounded by acreage and cows, and it is a lovely life. But, blooming where you are currently planted, regardless of your farm dreams, is a powerful story for your readers. Personally, I didn't grow up on a farm, so I have been learning to garden over the past few years, and I think I would just be tickled to find even more jolly goode gal camaraderie through your garden story.
