Cobwebs and Sushi

Part of spring cleaning in a house involves a lot of sorting, organizing and throwing out… The same is true for a good spring cleaning of the brain and heart as well.
A portion of my “clearing out the cobwebs” of my brain includes clearing out some of the things that have been piling up in my mental “to share” closet. Things and places, people and faces that I have been meaning to share with you, but just haven’t gotten around to yet…

So with out further fuss or muss, I am clearing off a space in my mental closet, and sharing with you the beautiful photography work of my friend (and former design assistant, oh those were the days…) Whitney Loibner.

Whitney is beautiful inside and out, and it shows through in her work. Recently she taught me how to roll California rolls during a Sushi night at a friends house and afterwards she took the most amazing pictures of our hard work. ..just looking at these is making me hungry!

She does portraits and weddings and news photography, but I think maybe I love her food work the most. Maybe that is because, like me, she is a true foodie.
