The V-Day banners are coming along nicely, but life tends to interrupt our best laid plans, and this afternoon I am unexpectedly leaving town to go be with a friend during her grandmothers funeral. This little trip is one of Those Things we just can’t prepare for, or anticipate, or fit nicely into our day planners, it just is what it is. Sad and inconvenient and necessary and full of reminders about what is really important.
So I am leaving today and will be back tomorrow evening.
Banners will go up by Thursday, if life and the sun (for picture taking purposes) are willing, but for today, I am off to be present for a friend, because my presence is all I had to offer.
You are a good friend!!>Rosemary
Those banners are fabulous…your friend is blessed to have someone like you!>>Have a blessed day…>>kari & kijsa
Hi, It’s me, Jeanetta’s friend. You met me once. I know that you will be a great comfort for your friend. I just wanted to stop by and say hello and tell you the banners look fabulous.
When my father died I cannot tell you how much it meant to me that my best friend flew out to be with me. SHe was 6 monthes pregnant and stayed in a hotel with me for three days!!! These are things we NEVER forget… It’s so comforting when you lose someone you love so much to know how much others love you.>>You are a real friend…a thick & thin one!!>Karen Eileen
I think your friend is very lucky to have you as a friend! >>I love your stuff. I’m planning a trip to see your store in person! I can’t wait!
Your friendship, I’m sure, was the most important thing.
Sometimes presence is the best thing you can offer, especially when it’s for a friend.
