Once upon a time there was a family who wanted to have a little garden…
This was is their fearless leader.
This is his willing assistant.
And this is was their foe.
A large lovable pup who found the newly tilled and piled dirt, a most lovely place to do her -ahem- (sorry Maw,) business. Ahem.
But even as nice as the fence was, it was not enough for the rascally pup.
She was not to be deterred by a simple little fence, oh no!
What to do?
Neither Farmer Daddoe or Cottage Momma wanted to spend too much money.
And they hated to undue all the work already done.
So they did the only thing they could think of.
They went out for fish tacos.
And it was there, at the little restaurant, half a taco in her mouth, that Cottage Momma had an idea
Garden Bunting!
“Why not?” said Farmer Daddoe.
So off to Wal-Mart she went, to buy vinyl tablecloths (oilcloth being hard to come by in her town,) white duct tape and rope, while Farmer Daddoe went off to buy wooden stakes at the hardware store.
And before the sun was set that day, there was garden bunting all around that fresh garden spot.

I love it. What a great and beautiful solution. Thank goodness you went for some fish tacos….. We have a real problem with deer eating every single thing we plant around here, i am thinking this may be a wonderful solution to our dreadful deer problem. I am going to be heading to walmart for ome fab table cloths. Thanks.
