Did you survive all the family? All the food?
Today is our interlude between family Thanksgiving events, and if you are like us, then you might want a small reprieve from recipes that require ten steps and twenty ingredients. But you also might want to make a breakfast that is slightly elevated from cereal, because let’s face it, how often do we get to make a hot breakfast?
These easy breakfast are the result of a “what do we have in the cupboards” moment when even cereal and milk were scarce around our house.
Prep: Cut cheese sticks in half, pull out two meal slices per roll, separate dough.
Roll meat around cheese and dough around meat.
Line them up and bake at 350 until the dough is golden and the cheese oozy.
Place in front of unsuspecting child and wait for the scent of fresh baked buttery rolls and melted cheese to overtake his senses.
Catch him during the first bite paparazzi style to prove it’s yumminess.
