I thought it would be fun to start a regular Friday feature that is all about dream getaways… Kind of a bucket list/inspiration list of places and thing I would like to see and do in the great Someday.

I just purchased this DVD a couple months ago and love to watch it while I paint. Great choice of places to go!
I've been there! And done this! It's in the Lake District of England, which is also the area that inspired Romantic poets and writers like Wordsworth, Coleridge, and Ruskin. It's also the place I'm always telling my husband I want to run away to, so, let's run away together!

We would also absolutely have to go to nearby Grasmere and eat ginger bread. It's required. Then we'd sit next to Derwentwater and watch the sunset.
