Warning: I am breaking a cardinal blogging “success” rule. I am blogging on the weekend. Oh well.
Bryan Jones please forgive me.
Bryan Jones please forgive me.
I think one of my frustrations yesterday was the fact that I don’t completely understand how to use my camera.
I always have a hard time getting good – true-to-life pictures of my kitchen. (Of course I blame the yellow,)
but maybe it has to do with my picture taking skills too
So in an act of desperation and hope today I broke out my manual.
Yes, it was dusty. No I have never opened it. Not once.
Wonder why I get frustrated?
Yes, it was dusty. No I have never opened it. Not once.
Wonder why I get frustrated?
And while the manual didn’t explain everything to me, it did help a bit.
So I played around with some settings, put the camera on my new (garage sale find) tripod and went to snapping.
And I am pretty pleased with the results. The yellow is not quite so annoying today.
(By the way, my fab new curtains are a vintage sheet cut ripped in half. No sewing required.)
Just in case you were wondering!
hi, your kitchen is just fab, i really love the window and how you display it. Great pictures too x
Awesome! I love your kitchen as much as the rest of your beautiful home!
Hugs, Lisa
ps Why don't you blog on weekends? Is all about getting out of the house and off the computer?
Your kitchen is wonderful lets trade, Mine is blue and I love the yellow, Have a good weekend!!!
I'll read your blog any day of the week! Your kitchen is amazingly fabulously adorable & cheery – just like the rest of your house! Love the curtains! (my kitchen curtains are a vintage tablecloth cut in half)
I love the retro vibe of your kitchen. It's so fun. And, I think your photos are fabulous.
Great kitchen! You know, the time of day has a lot to do with great photos too. I'd try taking the same photo at different times of the day to see what you get. I think evening photos taken in my house are best…

Ha. I laughed out loud, pretty sure Bryan told me the same thing about weekend blogging. I LOVE the new set up, especially the stools around the tall table. Just fab. And I'm pretty sure your wall color is identical to the yellow I used to have.
