little bits and pieces strewn from here to there

it is real. and comfy. and messy. and stressful. and delightful.

my life and my days are ever changing. nothing stays the same for long.
i can never predict the future. the more comfortable i get with me, the more comfortable i get with that idea.
or maybe it is the other way around?
The future is called “perhaps,” which is the only possible thing to call the future. And the only important thing is not to allow that to scare you.

Jerusalem,>I love it, i love it, i love it!!!>This is what all of our houses look like at times!!! My children are all grown so it’s just me and my hubby and I still can’t keep it super tidy!! I think it’s called “being an artist”. I mean housework and all will still be here tomorrow, but when the artistic muse strikes, you gotta go with it!!! lol>blessings,>starrydeborah
Thanks so much for the reality check and the reminder that houses do not have to be perfect, just filled with love, happiness & contentment. I keep reminding myself that my little ones won't remember a spotless house, but they will remember a momma who played with them & gave them love & affection.
Love that glimpse into your very real, cozy life! Jen
I think that is my everyday life. I live with three boys and I think they live to mess it up~>Bristol
It is so nice to know that I am not the only one! Somedays I feel as though if someone walked through my front door I would be mortified! Good to know that we are all real Moms, Wives, Cooks, Maids, Nurses, Teachers, etc.! Thanks!
Yet oddly, your house is still beautiful! I love all your colors! They still pop out in the midst of life!
real life! Rachaelxo

Yep, if readers could only see what’s just out of the frame of the photo! 🙂>>Holly
Isn’t it wonderful that when I look at your pictures, all I see is wonderful, cheerful colors, art, and evidence of a full life, well-lived.
Your house looks so much like my house! Colorful- fun, and slightly chaotic 🙂

That's awesome. I'm always taking photos of our house in it's “real” state; dishes filling the sink & overflowing to the countertops, piles of laundry to fold & put away (my least favorite thing), and toys littering the floor, because sometimes life just happens, and it is far from perfectly clean!
