Howdy friends!
Well, it might be late at night but I am getting this post in by the hair of my chinny-chin-chin before Friday has sailed on past.
Here are the things I am loving online this week:
On Feast
Fasting, Feasting, and Ferial eating from Regan Sutterfield. I love this call to enter Lent mindful of how and why and when we eat.
On Faith
” A feminist is simply someone who thinks that women should have the same rights as men. And if you believe that, you are a feminist — whether or not you like the term. Because, in the words of Aziz Ansari, “that is how words work. You can’t be like, ‘Oh, yeah, I’m a doctor that primarily does diseases of the skin.’ ‘Oh, so you’re a dermatologist.’ ‘Oh no, that’s way too aggressive a word. No no no. Not at all. ’”
On Fluff
Our kitchen cabinets arrived yesterday so that meant it was time to order a sink and faucet! Hurrah. After MUCH debating and soul-searching this is the one I went with.
The other one I liked was VERY cottage-y and that is just not this house. I ordered this one from Home Depot so that if I don’t like it, it won’t be hard to return.
We shall see….
On Family
Another Harvest Session from Joy Prouty. I LOVE these sessions that she does and would love to have something like this done of our family. Especially because the boys are so big and our life with them at home to be raised gets shorter and shorter. I love the idea of 24 hours documented and set to music. What a gift Joy is to the families that get to reap from these harvest. Go watch the newest session video HERE.
On Farmstead
Sustainable Flower Farming – this is something that I would LOVE to do. I really want to find something I can grow/raise/make to sell at our little communities Farmer’s and Crafter’s Market. Maybe this is it….
On Fete
A mini-pancake party for Shrove Tuesday. Adorable.
If we weren’t having a Shrove Tuesday/Mardi Gras blast at church I would SO do this. Seriously cute.
Have a great weekend y’all!
