Once again it is time for a round-up of what has been inspiring me this week…
On Family
This. So very much:
Sarah Bessey on what Love Looks Like
“we bought the lie, hook line and sinker from the evangelical hero complex. Life was meant to be an adventure, filled with risk and romance…But here’s the truth: lifelong love is actually most built throughout the hours of the day, all twenty four of them, in the ordinary moments of our humanity”
On Fete
I am catching the Valentine’s Day bug and filling up My Pinterest Board with crafts, decor and party ideas and thinking about how to celebrate V-Day with bigger boys.
On Fluff
We have ordered our kitchen cabinets and now I just have to decide on the backsplash! Wondering if I could really make faux brick look good… Jennifer Rizzo thinks maybe I can.
On Farmstead
I am always a little late to the game, but I just discovered From Scratch – a free online magazine for modern farmsteaders like us. You can sing-up for new issues here, and from what I can tell they are chocked full of info and great pics.
On Faith
11 Things I Love About the Episcopal Church from Ben Irwin
All I can say about this article is YES YES YES. (And if you don’t much about the Episcopal Church or why someone would choose this way of worship this is a great article to start with.)
On Feast
Monday is Candlemas and I am trying to decide what sort of Crepe Cake to make. I REALLY want to make this tiramisu inspired version but I am not sure if it is going to happen in our temporary kitchen situation. This one may have to wait till next year…
Well that’s it for this weeks Round-Up! Hope your weekend is lovely and restful and/or productive whatever you need it most to be.
