One of the things I had to do during Spring Break was to finish a decorating job for a client from my design days.
I only come out of retirement for Liz and her lovely log home.
She has been such a loyal client and good friend over the years that I can never say no when she calls, no matter how hard I try.
These a just a few pictures from my iPhone, snapped before I was completely finished, but they give you an idea of how things looked.
Not the best quality, but I am glad to have a small record of it.
It was a lot of fun to see it all come together at long last, and it was a lot of fun to venture back into this part of my past. It’s like exercising a muscle that you forgot you had, and it is comforting to know that I can still pull it off when needed.
But it was also a lot of work (there was a complete kitchen remodel involved,) and I am glad to be finished with it!
Also I am glad that Liz and her husband are pleased – that is the best part of course.
So there you have it.
A little decorating project.
Much love
J
PS- Keep watch – there is going to be celebrating happening around here soon as we celebrate a certain books birthday!
