For most of the snow days the girls, like us, stayed warm and snug in their house.
Sweet Man did some weather proofing as soon as the snow started, and got a heat lamp safely secured.

Even though we opened the door up for them during the day, it wasn’t until Sunday that they begin to venture out of their coop and into their run. And even then, they poked around a bit and then back into their warm and cozy abode.
There was still too much snow for me to venture past the cleared portion of the patio, so I had to use the zoomy lense to get these shots. Maizy however loved romping and digging in the snow. She looked part-polar bear out there.
Rain came yesterday and melted all the snow. Next up is cutting up all the fallen limbs, asseing any damage done to our old garage roof and breaking ground on the garden. Wait to I show you all the garden goodies my parents gave us…
