Welcome to everyone who has popped over from Heather’s blog and my Home Made Lovely home tour today!.
********************************************
This is Thursday’s Confessions. A weekly feature where I confess, before you my sisters and brothers, the silly, the ridiculous and even at times the shameful. Why? Because confession is good for the soul.
I also like to stay in on Saturday nights and mend stained clothes, putting patches on them, made out of vintage embroidery pieces. I watch way too many BBC Mystery and Classic Novel-Turned-Miniseries’ on Netflix and I love the smell of Pond’s Cold Cream and Chantilly powder.
And last, but not least, I love helpful household tips- like this one that my grand Maw taught me.

I love this idea. I used to buy those “shower cap” bowl covers that I think, Glad used to sell, but I like this much better, the flowers are much better to look at.

Love this idea! They are so pretty. Where did you find these pretty floral ones?

I got these at the Dollar Tree!

I too use the little shower caps on my bowls. The Dollar Store here carries them. My kids laugh at me, but I do love them so! And cotton nighties and BBC series and mending and patching on a Friday night (with a glass of wine — something my Granny never did!).

Great idea! I'm following now and will join in next week. Well, IF I don't forget! LOL

This is the most fantastic idea I have heard in some time. Wonderful.

I want a hair dryer chair! I could see myself relaxing under the heat with a glass of wine in hand. So divine.

OH MY WORD!! That is so cute!! I've seen{in the Farm Chicks book, maybe} where they took a fabric version of this idea and I loved it!! But, golly, if I can get them from the Dollar Tree, I'm there-fabulous!!
Oh, I got an email from you, of the spam variety I think, as I've gotten a lot lately{from other friends.} I didn't want to respond or email you for fear my computer may crash. I don't even know if that's possible but one can't be too careful…
Hope you have a lovely Thursday!!

I would never have guessed shower caps! My sister takes old plastic table cloths and makes caps for her wood round stools outside, around the fire pit. A great way to use old, battered tablecloths, but this would work, too!

How totally cute! i was just wishing the other day for a way to cover my dishes quickly but with out dealing with sticky Saran wrap. I, too, would rather stay in on a Saturday and am very granny-like. They are the simple pleasures that make life fun!
