This year I have a 6th grader and a 2nd grader.
How did that happen???
Brothers. They are the best of friends…at times. And then there are the other times.
I am finding that the older they get the less they tell me what they need and the more I have to really pay attention. I have to be present in ways that are new and challenging. I have to read between the lines, look for clues and keep my eyes open at all times.
Raising boys to men is never boring and I am a blessed Momma.
I LOVE how you have every year in front of your door like that. So cute to watch them grow 🙂
These are adorable! We do the same thing every year only in front of the sign at school. I get a little teary eyed thinking how next year my girl(who will also be a 6th grader this year) will be up at the Jr. High and our kindergartner will be taking her place next to their brother.
School sure does start early down in your area!! I have to say I'm a bit jealous!

Yes you are blessed & children grow up waaay too quickly for us Mommas! I really like seeing them progress through the years, very nice. I was never consistent with my picture taking, now my kids are teens! Libby(looking at colleges) going into her senior year and Will(my baby) is a Freshman!
I'd like to put a short pause on time just so I can really capture it all, whether in pictures, hugs or memories.
