last week on my lunch break I went to Holiday House,
our local Junior League sponsored shopping event.
There are lots of things at Holiday House that are cute and yummy.
There are a lot that are not.
I do not go to shop. I go to look. To get lost in the crowd and soak in new ideas, trends, and just pretty things.
Here are a few things that caught my eye;

I love these boots! I also loved the purses with they had with the same embroidery
The Sock Monkey’s were out of control in this booth! But I can’t help but love their color and rainbow stripe happiness.
This was one of the few true “crafty” booths.
I loved the mobiles that he artist had made using wire and scrapbook paper.
This Owl Mobile was my favorite.
This was my favorite tree. So cheery and bright.
I loved the curly-q picks at the top. They were made out of a material inbetween a bottle brush and a pipe cleaner. I want a 100 of them.
There was one booth that embraced the all-white Curious Sofa-esque color pallete.
They had a great selection of snowy glittery goodness that was vintage inspired.
I love these cotton batting creature snowmen. Something about this look always appeals to me.
I haven’t decided how I want to decorate for Christmas this year.
This is one of those years that seems like change is in order somehow.
One of those years when everything pivets just slightly, just enough to make you do crazy things like run away for Thanksgiving and re-think how you decorate for Christmas.

I don't know what I liked best, but those boots were definitely up at the top of my list!

Yes I too love to just walk around and soak in the inspiration sometimes, I LOVE those Boots in the first photo! You'll have to share your “new” Holiday decor inspiration when it finally strikes you. One year I was totally inspired by Mardi Gras and decorated our Tree in that theme, using the colorful Mardi Gras accents a Friend had brought back from New Orleans… LOVED how it turned out.

My girlfriends and I were in town just for the last day of Holiday House and I can see from this post that my 3 hours spent there were not enough to see all the glorious treasures!
