It came exactly as I had hoped which was great, but all of your positive feedback has really boosted me so so much! If you were all here I would give you a fresh cup if lemonade and a bouquet of roses to show just how much your comments have meant to me!
I want to post about the lovely awards I have been given (here and here) and pass them on to others myself…Thank you ladies for honoring me this way! It means so much!
I want to post new ATTIC SALE items to Storia VINTAGE…
I want to show all the new projects I have been working on, and the cute things my kids have done, and my new little kitty Elvis…
And lastly I really want to play with Linda in her “quest for imperfection.” But there is no time. N, there is far too much fun with children is being had. Too many banners being glittered. Too many playdates, and visiting relatives and birthday parties on the horizon…
So instead of some lovely old piece of furniture revamped, or some vintage towel turned into a pillow all I have for Linda is my VERY imperfect “summertime the kids are home” living room. Toys everywhere, ottomans pushed to the side, who knows what all over the floor… And this is the tame picture. You do not even want to see the levels of imperfection my studio has achieved so this will have to do for now.
We are off for some mini-vacation time the rest of the week. Trips to Zoo’s and Baseball Games and Presidential Libraries and Civil War Battlefields await us. I hope wherever you are this week you are able to enjoy the summer, and I will meet you back here in Blogland very soon!
I really like your fire place. I need to re-do our mantle.>>Know what you mean about spending time in blog land, too….that’s what I am doing this morning. I haven’t been through my “list” in ages.>>Hope you have a nice mini-vacation1>God bless.>Terri
I hear you, Jerusalem! I waffle between blogging regularily and wanting to give it up for the summer. For now, I compromise, and blog late at night when I should be sleeping, or when I can grab a quick chance to cool off by the air conditioner…>>Thanks for your nod and the picture of your summer reality! I think it reflects where most of our homes are this summer!>>Enjoy your days,>Linda
I want you to know I made a flower arrangement using the technique from CAMP! I gave it as a b-day gift with lemons in the vase and peonies and the flag. It was darling…thanks for the inspiration!>The website looks great!
I am anxiously awaiting your listing of the stickers. 🙂
I added your link to my “imperfect” post…sorry it took so long!!>>Linda
Ahhhh, I seriously LOVE your house. So real. So lived in, yet so beautiful. Wonderful.>>~Stacy
