One of my favorite things about our house is the light in the kitchen in the late afternoon and evenings. Being in there at that time of day has restorative powers for me…
Here are a few pictures where I attempt to capture some of the wonderful glow that greats me as the day turns to evening and I clean the kitchen with the companionship of NPR and a cup of coffee or lemonade…Depending on how long of a night it is going to be…
I love the way the light dances and lands on all sorts of objects – towels, cups, tea pots…I feel like tinker bell has come for a visit.
We finished installing at my clients house late last night – I have to say that I am pretty excited about the rooms and promise to post pictures as soon as I can get back and take some (when we were finished it was dark. Very, very dark.)
Now it is time for a little R&R tonight with my family at Wylie’s baseball game…
Posting may be spotty for the next week while I finish up some web projects and get the Shoppes re-stocked and orders mailed. Thanks for sticking with me during this particularly busy period, finding your comments waiting for me each day is so comforting and encouraging! I promise news on Camp STORIA soon!
What a beautiful space – it looks so welcoming.
i love your kitchen light– what a wonderous sight at the end of the day to get you through those evening hum-drums.
Such a beautiful vignette! I can definitely see why that space speaks to you. Thank you for sharing it!>>Hugs,>Deb
