Today Jeanetta and I worked our little (and not so little in my case) tushies off to get our front parlor room at The Shoppes on Woodlawn updated for the monthly “Shop ‘N’ Sip” night. We have sold several peices of furniture over the last month and some major reshuffling was involved!
Here is what we called the “boudoir corner” complete with all things Parisian!
My mom made the little pillow in the chair. We were really pleased with how everything came together, and how very “oh la la” it all looked.
Jeanetta made the the apron and the little Eiffiel tower case, along with bags of matches and the tea-cup pin cushion.
I made the gift cones, candles,
and lampshades …one I made from vintage lace…
I call it the “wedding dress” and I love how it’s floppy bow looks, so romantic…
As always if you see something you can’t live without in these photo’s please let us know!
Come back tomorrow for some pictures from other little corners of our room…
I just can’t wait to get back down to Arkansas so that I can visit your shop. We will be retiring in Hot Springs….some day!>>– Suzanne, the Farmer’s Wife
Wow!!>It looks great!! I love all things French. I wish I could come. I guess California is a bit far.>Rosemary
That corner is too awesome!!1 I love the lamp as well, i think it might be my fav out of the vignette! Thanks for sharing! And thank you for sharing your “list” story over at my blog! isn’t it just amazing?
I love all your treasures!…wish I was closer so I could visit.
Love the photos – and drooling over the little pink suitcase with the Eiffel Tower graphic!
That lamp…it represents everything I love…a little glass, a little vintage, pompom fringe…heavenly!!>>Do you have access to or sell large drum shades? I am looking for one to encapsule my chandelier. I want it to be semi transparent so that I can still see the chandelier. >>Thanks for the eye candy!!>>Linda
