You can see what is left of the table from our party. It was quite the shin-dig, with 22 adults and 20 kids plus the 2 in-utero (that we know of.) Next year the grown-ups will most likely be out numbered by the wee ones….
We trick-or-treated, ate tons of homestyle Mac-n-Cheese (thank you Stouffer’s,) Mummy Dogs and Kim’s yummy salsa. This was our 4th Annual Halloween Hoopla and it is so fun to look back at the pictures from all the previous years and see how much all the kids have grown and how we are all still together, still friends, & still doing even the most basic life event’s together. It’s kinda cool to throw a party one year just for the heck of it, and four years later look back and realize you have started a tradition.
But back to Christmas…I do love the Christmas season – and I don’t mind that for me it starts in early November. Might as well Embrace! and Enjoy! I say. My Aunt Puddin’ gave me this catalog last night and it has wonderess Christmas treasures like these and these in it. To me this is what Heaven should look like. All glittery and peaceful, with glowing windows like beacons of hope…
Also, here are the fab curtains for the boys room that
Mom whipped up out of scraps from previous projects. They made their debut at the party last night and were a big hit…
You will be hearing a lot from me this month because I have gone nuttso and signed up for NaBloPoMo, which is this blogger thing where you are supposed to post everyday for a month. Ironically this is the busiest month for me business wise. I bet you are all are going to witness a bunch of balls being dropped…
So here goes nothing – or a whole lot of something. We shall see!
