Last Friday
Last Friday Nathan's band had a gig in Hot Springs, which is about an hour from our front door. Usually these gigs, at this particular dive, last till the wee hours of the morning and he doesn't get home till around 4AM or so. Well, I am sad. My favorite Wal-Mart is closing. It is a small one. One you could get in and out of fast, without walking a mile across the entire store, just to remember you need something way back on the other side, which just happens to be the opposite end of where you parked. Juneau, My Love
I grew up in Juneau, AK. We moved there when I was 11. It was heartbreaking because in 1985, I was on the cusp of becoming a bonofied, teenage valley-girl.
