But then I remember that I do keep Idea Notebooks, and they are sort of like journals.
Or at least the start of journals…
One is a guided journal/scrapbook that I have been working on slowly for years. Just adding bits when I am inspired too. It covers everything from “Style” to “Home” to “Someday.”
Very few of the pages are finished and most are not even started.
I didn’t really like doing it the way the book said, so now I just use each of the pages in each category how I want. Much freer that way.
I love how these 2 pages are coming along…
Book #2 is my most recent and is dedicated to
my love of Cute Shoppes & Studios, Holiday’s, Parties, Weddings and Food Photo’s.
But I have a thing for pictures of pastries.
Yummy!
Then there is My Home Notebook.
This notebook is reserved for things I consider to be actual ideas for my house – now or later.
These pages cover everything from the bathroom to the garden and tend to be sparsely laid out so I can see all the details clearly.
The last book is purely inspiration fodder.
Eye candy all the way. This is where I keep all the odds and ends that I use for my inspiration boards and so on.
I keep everything in here in sheet protectors and nothing is glued or taped down so that I can easily access it.
I love how this book changes as I remove and replace items. The stories on the pages are always evolving and changing.
Do you keep journals or Idea Books?

So fun to see I'm not the only one who does this. I've got pages from back in high school! I have them all in storage at the moment but a while back I went through the huge pile. It was interesting to see that my tastes have pretty much stayed the sam all these years. Thanks for sharing 🙂

I keep both, but haven't touched either in months.

I have four books filled with things ripped from Martha Stewart Living. Totally not kidding.

I do keep an inspiration notebook but I haven't added to it in at least a year. I've been inspired by you to dig that thing out! I also have inspiration bulletin boards that I add stuff to — Mostly images and little scraps that make me happy.
