Well, it didn’t explode exactly. But it did die. And it ruined our kitchen floors. And it had to be replaced. Immediately. So there you go. Exciting huh?
The good news is that this little glitch will be prime motivation to start tackling the kitchen remodel. I think we will work from the floor up…
So it is back to the kitchen inspiration drawing board for me… These are pictures from a wonderful kitchen in Texas that I saw on HGTV’s Country Living TV show a million years ago (I guess that is why the pictures are so grainy.) But I just love the whites and creams and the way everything is tea stained and soothing… But I know me, and somewhere, somehow, I will have to inject some color. I just won’t be able to resist. As much as I love to look at it in the picture, I don’t know that I could live in it so neutral… The color always finds me…

Color follows me around everywhere as well. I like white- but only because of it’s ability to show off color. Good luck on your kitchen! It will be exciting to re-do it. (and may I suggest cork floors?- lovely stuff for a kitchen)

Sorry to hear about your water heater… things like that always come at the worst of times. But cudos on using the insurance money for a new floor, that’s exciting!
